Hey bro, you might wanna try this other alternative. Algone nitrate pouches, available from madpetz. This stuff tried and tested, works great on my tank, i change one pouch every 2 weeks. Never had a nitrate problem since implementing. Now i can spam frozen food without worry. When pouch is exhausted, has this extremely foul smell. I appreciate the smell, since i know its doing its job. haha.

Does it really work? I'm still dosing mine but still no effect. Maybe not long enough.

Be precise when you use azno3. When it first came out, some reefers were too impatient and overdose. Caused tank to crash.

In my experience yes it does work. It does the same thing as vodka dosing basically. When you reach the stage where you put 8ml per 50gal you will start to see the difference
