Are you using any calcium Addictives etc? If you need more than 1ml it's an issue

Nope. Im not sure why its so high either , I've always encountered high calcium levels in my tanks, last time my 30gallon tank had a similar calcium level , but the corals were doing fine. So maybe its a bad batch of test kits? But that being said , i use both api and salifert to test the water and they both showed high calcium readings .

1 jebao dosing pump

And a few spses

Changed the sunsun pump to a hailea pump

I did manage to get my refractometer in the end but the im not really sure of how to properly calibrate it to give me accurate readings . The brand is RHS-10atc , some advices from you guys would really help haha

My current filtration methods:

450ml of reef octopus biopellets in a fr-30 enducter

10ml of lanathum chloride daily( split into 2 doses one in the morning and one in the evening using my dosing pump)

200 micron filter socks (anyone knows of where to get the 5-10 micron types)

Bubble magus curve 7 skimmer( would like to get an upgrade soon since im doing lanathum chloride)

Will also be adding in a downflow type algae scrubber from taobao maybe end of the year when i go to china( hand carrying them back to sg HAHA)

1 turquoise birdnest

1 purple valida

Will be adding in a fiji valida frag, sunset monti , radioactive bn and jade green digi later in the afternoon

Lanthanum chloride can be a double edge sword, imo it is safer for use on big tank.
