Ahahah..everyone who saw my 4 footer in person was 'shocked'. Cause it's smaller than what they expected. Visualize this..4 ft length..18 inch width..water height onli 15 inch.

This is the first time I hear a nano thats 4ft!!! nano refers to tank thats under 20gallon. even your sump dont qualify as nano tank leh! :P

lolx..nano in the sense is that everything is small. Recently sold off my yellow tang and true perc pair. Now tank looks so peaceful...such serenity.

Log : Today bought silicarbon. Added into tank at around 3pm+...time now is 11.40pm..sandbed looks so much whiter...the diatoms like just disappeared?!

Will take another pic n post up tomorrow around 3pm for comparison against my tank with diatom bloom.

,Feb 24 2004, 11:47 PM] fuel where u bought silicarbon? ;)

Paradiz Reef...After my experience with Contraphos, I learnt not to wash the stuff before putting it into the sump. The water will turn brown for awhile..after which it clears up without any problems.

OK..switched my lights on 30 mins earlier today to take some pictures. Noticed diatoms were still around. Think it might take few more days for them to starve and go away.

Anyway..the awaited pics of my yashia. Finally it became bold to swim out in the open. ;)

Ok..sold of my black-head jawfish and my yellow watchman. I thought my tank would FINALLY be peaceful..but now my purple firefish is the king. <_<<_< giving my firefish and my old black antenna shrimp goby a chase now and then... <_<

Anyway..thought my sri lankan pistol would be lonely..today at PR got 2 more small black antenna shrimp goby. Thank goodness the pistol did'nt eat them.

Here is a pic of one of them. Check out the size disparity!

Best pic I could take..had to use flash. If not too dark.
