That time my favourite discosomas were stressed up due to ionic imbalance..now with Ca reactor water conditions more stable..they have fought back with a vengeance.

Beautiful orange rhodactis (i think) from PR..nice rock it was on too... Placed a purple rhodactis frag on the rock..hopefully can grow with the orange ones.

I must be outta my mind..its past 4am and here I am taking photos of my tank. Ok..was going to sleep..took a look at my tank..noticed my jawfish out in the open pecking at food although the lights were off hours ago..noticed my pipefish doing the same. Basically, all crustaceans were on a feeding frenzy too. The reason?

My harlequin released babies!

Switched the light back on for a few seconds to take some shots. Quickly offed the lights later as i was afraid of disturbing the female harlequin.

You can see the faint outline of baby harlequins zipping about in the water column.

Hmmm..came home..no more baby harlequins already..guess all become coral and fish snack. Expensive meal!

mY Smallest LPS...some kind of favites? Comparison with a trochus snail shell. Given to me by a fellow reefer...has grew quite abit since.

The sea cuke is the candy-colored bread, the plate coral reminds me of green jelly with white icing on top and the 2 shrimps are the cherry toppings.

Sea cuke galore...my tigertail cuke bought from CF a few weeks ago. Finally got a decent shot. Great for nano tanks if other species of cukes seem too large. However, slightly more pricey...but worth every bit of it..gorgeous animal...from hawaii.

Hmm..think you better wait awhile...if fish are having problems..these will give you more problems. They are very sensitive to water parameters.

Thats why i give them a miss... Hmm... Maybe i should leave my tank without any fish for a month... Will it improve the survival rate of the new fishes i add...

Went hunting today..bought 3 more rock cleaner shrimps. 2 have eggs...free zooplankton..

Bought 3 of these fellas....as decoration to my sump..gotta construct a land area for them later..

Hmmm..it's from the philippines. Some species of ghost crab. Currently I like one type of crab many LFS bringing in..but $10-$18 for one...also a ghost crab...said to be from australia...but they said it's freshwater...i very much doubt it.....
