For the goby fans..... Dunno what soft coral is that..cauliflower? ..had that more than 1 year already..think close to 2 years..shrink then it stop there..not shrinking anymore..

Pic....my poor firefish being torn n tattered..all thanks to the purple firefish...it seeked a massage from one of my glass shrimp.

Just below the firefish..at the corner of the tank..i just observed tiny specks swimming against the weak current....even smaller than pods. One whole swarm of them. Smaller than CS larvae. My guess would be they are either glass shrimp larvae (one of the shrimp had eggs when I bought it)....or they could be harlequin shrimp larvae (less likely coz they are so small! ).....

Can't take a pic of them..my cam could'nt capture them...oh well..2.1 megapixel cam....

Yep..co-existing well..except for one male black stripe goby..coz I bought 2 males I think. Only 1 paired with my female. The other one is forced to live alone...if not will get torn fins courtesy from the other male...

Hmm..thanks Rumor...I forgot how to ###### the yashias actually...so I bought one that looked different..it had red dots on both its ventral fins.

hmm...JL27AY..hehe...when u spotted it? The day it arrived? I was there on friday...around noon...waited about 30-40 mins before Henry came... Actually Henry told me he wanted to keep the big one for his display tank...but he was kind enough to let me have it. So far so good...the big one is rather shy...not at all aggressive to the older resident..neither is the older resident bullying it..maybe becoz it's only half the size of the newcomer.

I was there when the shipment came on thrusday. But he told me that that all of them about them same size.

You gotta notice where it is residing. You must get them feeding soon. Jawfish health decline amazingly fast. For me, it started feeding hours after introduction into my tank. It did'nt venture out for food. So I squirted garlic enriched mysis into its cavern...whereby it cautiously took the food items. Eating cyclopeeze too. Will try fish eggs tomorrow. Starting must target feed. After when they settle down they become real bold. My old one will swim all the way out to grab food, not in a hurry to hide back into the burrow. Anyway..most likely yours is hiding. They don't MIA that easily.

Sea squirt got from ML. Recently I added a calcium reactor. Definitely helped alot.

nice sea squirt hmm u r running t5's? how deep is ur tank. thinking bout upgrading to mh but duno whr t5 is gd in da long run my tank is only 2ft n 1 ft deep though. maebe get 70wt mh. wad u think? or shud i get the t5s?

70W MHs IMO are useless (there are 70W MHs?! )..anyway..will still cook your water all the same.. You would be better off using T5s. I'm currently using only 3 X 54W ATI Aquablue T5s. Going to add another tube when I get my new reflector tomorrow. Could easily squeeze more tubes over my tank...but because I'm using waterproof end caps..and have an I-box over my side bracing..so limited to 4 tubes max. Anyway...My rocks are stacked towards the back. Sps are put at the most elevated portions. The Lights are shifted all the way to the back too, meaning 3 T5s over the back 9 inches width of the tank. Water height is 15 inches. You could pm dr evil to do a customization for you. The no. of T5s you are using depends on what you want to keep basically.
