Looks like a good portion of the Dispar's mid section has been devoured.

Took a whiff of the carcass, its still fresh, which indicates how quickly it was consumed.

So bottomline is, be careful what you put in your tank

someone mentioned to me before that the sting from bubbles tentacles can pack quite a punch, could it be the case?

It will probably remain a mystery, but I have a major operation in the works to rid my tank of majority of the peskies.

Barra, there is at least one senior reefer who will swear his bubble took at least 5 of his anthiases

Perhaps a random tentacle sweep in the Dispar's path which stunned it, then a slow drawing of the victim into its maw

If you were baiting a crab trap with a whole fish, if you pull it up with a crab inside, chances are that the fish will look like your anthias. If the bubble were to capture n eat the anthias it would start by slowly dissolving the outside tissues first...dun think it can 'dig' a hole into the poor anthias.

The fish so big of cause must dissolve it slowly mah...so big how to swallow down?

I had a boxfish last time, about 1 cm long and when i came home, the bubble was " swallowing " the boxfish!!
