Vin's 6ft reef tank!

Started with fresh water fishes and after a few years, I was fascinated by marine fishes at the farms. Therefore converted this tank into a fowlr. Have tried keeping lps corals but it did not survive long.

Have been reading online and saw many ppl in this forum keeping very beautiful and colourful Sps. And it makes me want to go into the dark side too. So I decided to step up my maintenance routine to bring down N & P. Finally I had the courage to buy small and easy frag of sps and added into my system.

Ok enough of the introduction. Picture speaks a thousand words. Next post will upload some picture. :)

Some correction. Tank size should be 6x2x2.5 How I wish I had taken height as 2. Placement of coral in a 2.5 is really no joke.

Using marine magic to dose Randy's 2 part for kh & ca.

Tks bro for the kind words. I need to learn a lot from guys. ;)

I like huge tank, lot of place for corals and fishes.Once the frags grow up it will be awesome.

Now I prefer small tank, cos I'm afraid I can't keep up with the alk and ca consumption. Haha

I'm guessing its a salmon montipora digitata. Only when it grows and develops its true shape and color form then easier to see. If developed green base with bright orange polyps, forest fire digi. Shape definitely looked more monti digi than monti cap.
