Basket for macro algae

Hi friends,

I have used egg crate to make a simple basket for the Red bamboo algae. Basically my Foxface and PBT loves eating it but it is costly to keep travelling to LFS to buy. Don't find it sustainable in term of effort too.

The 2 fish will always eat each batch till botak! Hence with this (unsightly) basket, they can only eat whatever that is growing out of it. This will allow the redied bamboo to have a chance to grow.

Of course this is technically a no brainer job. Most likely there will be an aesthetically more pleasant design. Do share :-)

You know there's this small metal ball cage people use to put veggie/hay to feed rabbits guinea pigs etc? I think that one can use to feed your fish also haha if they have plastic ones. May be more aesthetically pleasing. Great idea btw!
