Thanxs bro, guess maybe i should try target feeding... have been very lazy to do it... but the thought of the shrimps snatching the food and playing hide and seek with me really puts me off... :(

Will try giving the shrimps somthing to eat 1st... :)

RAV : Which type ? All i know is those hariy will sting the rest. But for the rest itis more of trying. As it may and may not.

Example" Those u see in Marine Life tank is green tip yuma he placed them so close to his purple mushroom and floridea and they are fine.

But those geen tip yuma sting my floridea in my tank. So you got to try.

But for sure Floridea will not sting each other no matter which colour tone you got.

Sunny : yes and no, the pic u see below is found in deep waters. Much deeper than those orange or green yuma. And it do well in some reefers tank and for some it just melt away ...

;) .. this is new.. Yumas can sting other corals? .. do they sting fishes then? :(

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

Acctually all different type of corals would just sting each other or others :) just depending on whose has a stronger sting.

I dont think yuma is known to sting fish. :)

Looks like the only place to find info is from the here..haha

anyway..I always see Ricoedeas lying low to the ground and their stalk is seldom exposed...issit normal if some of them would stand on their stalks...meaning the stalk would sometimes stretch out...

if I'm not wrong, they wouldn't. They are not like some mushrooms which can 'stand'.

those are ricordea yumas.

If I'm not wrong, ricordea floridas do not stand like that.. if thats what you are asking.

Like reaching out for light ler..

actually quite true.. I'm using MH and my orange ric yumas spread out over the rock instead of standing. IMO I think it looks nicer spread out than standing..

but of course we gotta take in consideration the space needed if they spread out into another coral's territory..
