help me get "acclimatised" to singapore

Hello fellow reefers and aquarium enthusiasts, I am not a newbie to reef keeping but have been out of the loop for a while. I am absolutely 100% clueless of the reefing scene in singapore and this is where i ll be needing your help and suggestions. On the hardware side i ll need suggestions on where to buy a reef ready tank of 60"x24"x24" dimensions. And a good quality skimmer, pumps, LED lights etc ... livestock and supply wise as per my research all major shops seem to be located around the pasir ris area, please do suggest me a place where the livestock is good and the store ppl are friendly. Most of all i want to know the places which are economical and good. Other than that all your valuable suggestions are welcome. Thank you.

Welcome Blesson to the forum! Your best bet for hardware will be to engage our friendly sponsors on this forum. Usually its hard to find a reef ready tank that is already made to your desired dimensions, my suggestion will be to custom make one, along with the stand and sump. Prices are definitely more reasonable as compared to purchasing a pre built, or manufacturer branded. On top of that, you get to decide with recommendations from tank maker on your sump design and skimmer size dimensions.

If u going to engage a good tank maker, most of the time, they can fulfill your equipment requirements as well.

Livestock wise, its encouraged that you spend some time going around the marine fish shops on this sunny island. If you are looking for something in particular, just post it in our "Weekly local fish stocks report" and we can guide u if we've come across it at a particular shop.

Hey Blesson's Firstly Welcome bro!

For Hardware Madpetz,Iwarna you name it..The reefing scene in SG Is strong..Im A Malaysian But im in SG Everyweekend for marine stuff..

For the 5ft why not custom make it? Or can try your luck on this forum..

Aquaculture has been a passion of mine since i was 6yrs old. My previous reef was my learning curve ! Been a while since then but excited to get back on the wagon.
