Butterfly fish - feeding

I bought CB and tear drop butterfly fish and refuses to eat mysis or pellet... Any other food u can recommend? Thanks

I'm having the same problem too. They are too shy to fight with the other fish. My copper and just forages by itself ard the tank.

Try this method. It works most of the time.

Go to NTUC frozen seafood section and buy the La La (preferably with shell).

The trick is to tie the lala with a piece of string and hand it to the side of the tank, like how you place your veggie clips.

Butterflies love them.

I saw that as well in youtube videos.. But once i release it to DT my fear is it will eat my clam

Do note, all or most of the butterflies are not reef safe.

Your clam will likely be "gone" even if you have trained them to feed on pellets.

Do read more about butterflies before you release them.

They are more for fowlr setup.
