Wondering how you guys get all the salt water for the initial setup of big tanks? Salt mix or nsw?

Distilled water salt mix right from the start. NSW might have some phosphate that will absorb into the live rocks n cause algae growth later. That's my personal experience, may not apply to all nsw source.

I bought mine from ah beng. Lucky stay ground floor. But had to buy like 20 bags. I think still short.

Would have been better to mix with ro/di water. But I don't have the until yet.

Mixing better. Less unwanted stuff in the water.

Shd b no problem..usually they will bring the nsw to ur place outside n use a pump..need long hose n extension plug for the pump though..call them n tell them ur problem, see what they say..Cheers

I use rodi and take 3 days to fill my tank then i add in salt from my sump with 1 wave maker and 1 in DT to make sure they mix well.
