Looks yummy bro! I used to dose sugar and one fine day I overdosed following dosing bacteria. Instead of getting diabetes, most of my livestock gone due to bacterial bloom. Lesson learnt!

Easy just use net scoop algae into a container. Total 5 minute.
Scoop and throw. No need brushing or cleaning

Everything seems happy.

No major issue during this 7 months of no water change
Temporary will just use handphone and post a picture of the tank today
