2019 Dream

Nutrient level is well control after implementing no water change
with iron and vinegar dosing daily since Dec 2016.

For 2018
Main water parameter is more stable with 3 monthly ICP check.
Alkalinity more stable throughout the day the help of Alkatronic
New Schuran Calcium reactor help to meet the new Calcium demand
hence less dosing is require.

For 2019
I think its time to look into power backup issue due to short term trip.
And maybe how to feed more often per day.

You running skimmer? And what is yr PO4 level?
Why u want to reduce NO3 ? Algae problem?
Yap, already try to skim harder. My PO4 is about 0.15 to 0.2.

So far no algae issue yet as I only on my light for 1 to 2 hrs per day.

Wanted to reduce the nitrate before introducing coral in.

First your PO4 confirm too high. (Hanna Reading?)

Keep it below 0.1 but above 0

1 to 2 hours light confirm not enough

What u run to control yr PO4?

I using Nyos testing kit.

I don't have coral yet so never on the light for long.

Never control PO4, the level remain between 0.15 to 0.2.
