Ok I finally found out that the star-fish like creatures that have been multiplying rapidly in my tank n feeding on my zoas are Asterina Starfish. Any suggestions how to get rid of them.

Thanks

Mark

You can try Harlequin shrimps, they might feed on the asterina starfish. But after its gone, past it to the next reefer so it doesn't starve to death

Thanks James

Unfortunately the Harlequin shrimps will also feed on my reef safe starfish...Oh well, I think I will labouriously remove them by hand one by one as and when i see them in the tank.

Thanks for all your advices : )

I don't think remove them hand by hand is a good idea. Its germs can be injurious or you can also search on youtube and get a brief guide on removing that. If you wish to know more about similar creatures viist here.
