Salifert Ca Test Kit Instructions needed

Someone in the house threw it away, was going to do some testing today but not sure exact amount...only remeber the 1 spoon pink thing and the 3ml tank water part.

cant remeber actual dosage of the other 2 bottles?

anyone got the chart or instructions to share??

Bro, here it is..

1) add with the 5ml syringe 3ml of water in the test vial.

2) add 6 drops of Ca-1 to the vial and swirl gently fo r10 secs

3) add 1 spoon of Ca-2 and swirl for 5 secs

4) put teh plastic tip firmly on the 1 ml syringe. And draw into the syringe the Ca-3 reagent till the lower end of the black part of hte piston is exactly at the 1.00 ml mark. There will be some air present just below the piston

5) add dropwise with the 1ml syringe teh Ca-3 reagent to the water in the vial. swirl after each drop a sec or two. Continue with this until the colour changes from pink-red to a clear blue colour.

6) hold the sryinge with the tip facing upward and read the position of the , now the upper end, of the black part of the piston. The syringe has graduations of 0.01 ml.

btw....wondersing salifert has a website that got the reading chart for me to make reference...huskiesg ...can help me one more time by giving me the reading between 400 and 480???
