Important points is not more than 3 liters of water per person. pretty much sure you wont exceed the 30 pieces of fish. so more people going, your water limit also goes up.

Really depends on the brand actually....Went to Taiwan And Germany LFS With totaly Differ Price Ranges..But i think will be cheaper,,Eg Phosban 550 Was Like super cheap In HK..Forgot the price tho..

Think fishes are cheaper. A lot of common fishes such as clowns, chromis, etc are priced at HKD10 each.

went there a few years ago, most marine shops always out of stock. yes cost is abt 60hkd.

fish wise brought in 2 fishes before. no issue with customs

Btw, can saltwater fish last as long as freshwater fish when packed and transport as checked-in baggage? I had brought back 3" cichlids without casualty which are packed and released into tank for closed to 36 hours.

Our problem with price is due to Singapore being a small market.

If we are big market, they can cut down price and still earn from the sale volume.

Just seeing the magnitude of the LFS in HK or Jatujak alone we can sense the size of the market compared to ours.

I think the local market is somewhat comparable to Hong Kong. The main reason, in my view, why prices are competitive in Hong Kong is due to competitions as most of the LFS are concentrated in the same area. Hence for homogenous products, pricesis the key.
