I can't rem how am tank look. For me is i dun wanna block the center view as tat is my main office door. Like come in oni bang wall.haha. not due to fengshui. Actually the overflow is loud when near. If not quite ok de. Like at seaside listening to waves. Haha. I got 2 x 5000l/hr pump. 1 to chiller another direct to the y piece. Coz behind the rock flow like not very good so i split 1 to blow behind. I thinking of upgrading to a higher pump too. Corals still very small. The whole setup still look very empty.

Understand ur point bro..ur tank still consider new thus explain the emptiness..AM's DTs scaping r more 3D with open caves n bridges, got high n low..different perspective though..cheers

I think that 2 x 5000lph return pumps are underpowered for ur 7 by 2.5 by 2.5 tank..factor in the head loss, the return flow will b weak n the turn over will b less..ur DT volume is ard 1180L, 10000lph is less than 10x..rem haven factor in head loss yet..cheers n happy reefing

bro. I havent measure them recently. Busy with exam. But the last time i measure about 2-3 week ago was kh 9, mag 1380, cal 490, no3 0 & po4 0.1. My sps when i got them already look like this. Colour wise i not very sure. But i know some r quite bleach when i got it. But growth wise i notice quite fast.1mth ago recently not very clear. Bro i got it from madpetz. I can't rem the exact name. But if i not wrong is hawaiian something. If u go madpetz u can ask ken the black and white i got from him. Yup i got a mixture of live and dead rocks. If possible i recommend using all live rock my live rock are lots of coralline algae but dead rock getting those black algae

Bro dont worry. Alot of the lps like prata or plates are dying or dead in my tank. I also got no idea what is happening. U wanna share what happened to ur sps? To get more ideas whats going on.

They just bleached. My be during that time my kh is not stable. Now i change to two parts.

Ic. Or maybe lighting plays a part for sps bleached. U try to google more info on that. I rem reading somewhere. Let me go dig out more info for u

Lighting and flow is important in SPS keeping.. Your water parameter must be stable too.. That why is recommend only after 3month or more then SPS keeping.. In the beginning, I lost a lot of coral due to lighting as its not strong enough or short timing.. Now it's good strong 8hrs and different setting thru out the day and ever since its been great !!

Can fit in. But i dun think the size is approve by hdb. Unless u stay ground floor. If i not wrong got some guideline on fish tank sizes.
