OMGOMGOMG. Just got home and saw my super sun coral eating my Liopropoma swalesi!!?? Goodbye to $45 and I didn't even get to see it much since it was always hiding... Luckily it's not a thousand dollar L. carmabi... ?

I had Same Experience before..Either The Fish Was Dead And Drifted on To the sun or It Layed on the sun..Since They Are Very Fast Fish..

4 weeks in, another video! The fish waiting in line to get cleaned by the skunk cleaner shrimp is one of my favourite things to watch (: Also, tang shit is really damn a lot.

Sorry for ur loss but I guess that's reefing. Sometimes u get $20 coral eating your $200 fish or your $20 fish eating your $200 coral.

Thanks, not too sad la, just quite amazed. Didn't expect that. It was quite a sight to see part of the fish sticking out of the polyp. Actually bro Ashwin might be right, perhaps the fish died and drifted over? It hardly came out so might not have had a chance to feed... Comparatively his other tank mates are all very greedy and competitive during feeding time

Hi guys! Some updates on my tank.

Noticed this little critter in the millie. Can anyone help to ID this crab - or rather more importantly is this crab safe or should i destroy it STAT?

Haha nice! I always remove crabs I find that hitchhike on my sps. Take it out put in a container with holes. Until I Id to make sure. I release it back on acro if it's safe. What is your cam setting?

I use a canon dslr with a macro lens. The settings vary depending on what dof I want to achieve and also how much available light there is, because my maxspect lights are set to mimic the diurnal cycle (ie sunrise-sunset)... Generally i try to keep the ISO as low as possible to control noise. Hope this helps!
