I went to Koh Samui once in 1995. Rode my motorcycle there. Reach there on the 4th day after stopovers in KL, Penang and Hatyai. The ferry took about 2 hrs from the mainland.

Did you check out the "midnight" parties (not those sleazy ones)?

Its held in some beach (i forgot which one), with different "supposingly famous" UK DJs spinning away the whole night each time. Heard it's only a monthly(?) affair.

I had to leave the very same day when I knew there was a party!

yeah. I checked it out. it was a complete mess everywhere I tell you. vomitt, broken beer bottles and litter.

but the party was awesome. after that, coming back to Singapore, you kinda find that ZoukOut becomes a farce.
