AIPTASIA!

anyone got an effective killer of these guys??? i tried pistol shrimps, bandit shrimps, butterfly fish and some liquids it work to some extend but its like 1 down another 2 will pop up. in my refugium it even appears as 1-2mm little aiptasias

Go For Peppermint Shrimps..You Stated as Liquid?? Joes Juice? I Like Biological Control Being cheaper..LCK Has some Shrimps At 18$Each If im not mistaken..

Hmm, its really quite a hit or miss with natural predators. U can also try peppermint shrimps and filefish.

Use Joe Juice, I have it on my tank too and honestly it was huge and many of them. Joe Juice is awesome instantly kill and melt them away. I am surprise that the Aiptasia instant disappeared. The only challenge is have to aim them directly.

if u dont have coral in your refugium than u can try klein butterfly the best aiptasia eater ...

I mixed Seachem Calcium (Kalkwasser also can) very concentrated. Use a small syringe to inject directly onto the Aiptasia. I did this to get rid of those grown in between Zoas polyps; Zoas unharmed while the Aiptasia never come back.

I got one. hardly see it., Shy little fellow but he does his job well. visible apitasia gone.

I used super glue and epoxy ... worked for me.

Usually wait till they starve to death then fall off the rock, then I just pick them up.

Found 2 on top of a LR ... Took the piece of LR out, scrubbed and then poured some hot water ( near boiling ) over the area for good measure just in case there are pieces of it left after the scrubbing

Glad to say that the tank which has Aiptasia is cleaned up by the filefish Got a few in there and they are hardworking, pecking away at the LRs and I believe they should have gotten all within their mouth's reach.
