Reef in US is $$$

I am Singaporean who worked/stay in US for the last few years. Had a reef tank for last 4-5 months. Man, things here are too expensive.

Just brought a Yellow Tang last month for US$32. Heard that cost only S$12. Is this true?

Too bad, the voltage is different. Anyone knows if I buy the equipment in Singapore, I can use 120V supply??

How much is the Live Rock in Sing? Here is US$5/pound. I think 1 kg = 2.2 pounds.

Hi

Warm welcome to SRC, bro.

In Singapore, Yellow Tang is ard Sing dollar $25 or cheaper...all the way from Hawaii and still quite cheap.

We get liverocks ranging from $6 to $18(toongas)...I recently heard some pple got the normal LR(not totally cured) at $4..... ;)

Yup, you are paying more, but hey, the assortment of zooz, sps and other corals you have access to also what we cant get...:lol::lol:
