tofubox
If u have the room, run biopellets, biosphere in a reactor. Else u can do prebiotic dosing like prodibio/biotim. Polyplab reef-resh, microbacter 7 + biofuel, zeovit Quote I Love Stagsss
SRC Member kenyee Posted March 5, 2014 SRC Member Share Posted March 5, 2014 Pic of the LR arrangement Edit: Cant seem to attach any pictures... Bro, resize ur photos to smaller.. Interesting to see ur setup..for nitrate control, suggest u often water change will do given the volume of water is little..note that fish can tolerate higher nitrates..cheers Quote @ 291213 Updated video: Kenyee FOWLR http://m.youtube.com/my_videos

SRC Member Hairul Hakim Posted March 5, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 5, 2014 Yeah, noted on fish can tolerate higher levels of nitrate. However, also trying to find out the best way for reducing nitrate as planning to get a 3x2x2 sometime soon (if budget allows, been camping SRC classifieds for a good deal :-( ) So the equipment will most likely be transferred to the 3 footer (only looking at transferring this denitrator or a fr , with bio sphere)? Sorry if I get those wrong, still pretty new. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

tofubox
Well, if u intend on upgrading and transferring the reactor. Than i suggest getting those hangon reactors for now. Like phosban 150 or DD Oceanic reactors, run either biopellets or biosphere its up to you. When u eventually upgrade, u can bring it over, and also add on an additional reactor for phosphate remover media. That will be great! SRC Member Hairul Hakim Posted March 6, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 6, 2014 How is the flow of e Jebao 25? Does it blow the water out? So far no issues, just have to increase the interval between the pulses, if u make it too short, then definitely will make my tank a surfers paradise. Lol. Anyone knows where sells biosphere anyway? SRC Member Hairul Hakim Posted March 9, 2014 Author SRC Member Share Posted March 9, 2014 Hi Guys, Just wanted some opinions. Thinking of keeping some easy lps in this setup of mine. Contemplating on getting a FR to add rowaphos. Currently running biosphere in just a media bag. Any opinions of adding a denitrator in as well? Any advice on any equipment to add for keeping some corals/lps as well? Thanks.
