Hi fellow reefers,

I'm recently considering upgrading my lighting to led. There is this led light on ebay which is very affordable but I cant seem to find any info on it.. my tank is 2x1x1.5

Any advice would be appreciated. :) I'm deciding between this, the eshine aquabeauty 70w or the odyssea 60cm quad t5ho.

From the available spec ,look ok. Missing spec is lens angle, and what brand of LED use.

Also this is a very basic light set where you need an external timer to on/off it daily.

With the shipping the price is reasonable

6.5 * 2 * 2 + 3.75 * 1.5 *1.5,(Decomn on 14/9/08)

I know a supplier from china has the same outlook of this.

He is also one of the source which i get the leds for my DIY light set.

Price wise about the same.

Probably the diff is the shipping cost which depends on the items weight etc.

Tank : 3 x 2 x 1.8 ( setup end Feb 2014 ) --> 4 x 2 x 1.8 ( setup early Nov 2016 )
Skimmer : Bubble Magus NAC6 --> Bubble Magus Curve 7
Return pump : Jebao 10000l/h ( down in 17th December 2014 ) --> Jebao DC-12000 ( 19th December 2014 )
Compressor drop-in coil
Wavemaker : Tunze 6105 x 1
Lights : Modular based DIY LED light x 4

And are the leds any good too?

Depend on budget, they uses bridgelux or cree for premium products and Taiwan brand for low cost.
