Need Help!! Blue tang tail damaged. Anyone advise?

Hi, my blue tang tails have damage. Any one know due to what reason? How to prevent it? Please advise me. I have include photo for viewing. I have 3 small blue tangs, 2 cleaning shrimp and 2 true percula crowns fish. Thanks.

Blue tangs love to hide between tight places of rocks. This might cause the problem. Or it also can be the other blue tang bit it during a friendly fight. It should grow back

Do you think it is done by cleaning shrimp?

Should not be the shrimp since it was cleaner shrimp. Look out for crab. Maybe during the tang fish sleeping until blur blur then attack by crab.

Wow... so far never see any crab. I got 3 small tangs but 2 tails was damaged. They have been together about a month plus. Nothing happened, only recently , this thing happened. What should I do ? Just look out for crab? Or it a disease?

Crab dont appear if got light. Try off all ur light during midnight and spot it using torch light during midnight.

I overslept yesterday, I m going to catch it yesterday night, due to overslept, the crab got one more day to live in my tank

I spot check at night. No crab was spotted. I think they friendly fight. The tsil now start to grow back

I have the same experience and found to be crappy issue.
