Mandarin fish behavior

Can someone help me confirm that this is a Female mandarin dragonet?

I know the female is not suppose to have a long dorsal fin and this one doesn't.

I'm hoping that it's a female and not just a male with the fin broken or a juvenile male without a fin.

Only reason I'm asking is because I just bought a male and added him into the tank. And my original mandarin got what I believe to be hostile. Started biting the new guy.

The new guy is slightly bigger and definitely male with the long fin

She's been chasing him around the whole day already. Broke them up a couple of times. Now she's having a time out in my sump's naughty corner.

If they are not mated pair, they will fight. That y mated pair usually command a higher price.
