Any Bro using aluminium profile as stand or cabinet?

Where to get and what is the cost like?(per ft or per meter)

Start No Water Change since 1st Dec 2016

Add new 2.5x2x 1.5 ft

Hi Sherman.

The price is per pc length at 20ft.

The shop at Ubi sell and cut accoring to your measurement.

Trade-off, they don't sell the accessories.

Teck Cheong at King George Ave sell all sorts of profile plus accessories.

Limitation is the minimal length they cut for you is 4ft ( if I'm not mistaken ).

Another shop in Frontier Buidling, Ubi name Prestech has all the require where you need to wait for them to cut etc.

Price not much diff.

Tank : 3 x 2 x 1.8 ( setup end Feb 2014 ) --> 4 x 2 x 1.8 ( setup early Nov 2016 )
Skimmer : Bubble Magus NAC6 --> Bubble Magus Curve 7
Return pump : Jebao 10000l/h ( down in 17th December 2014 ) --> Jebao DC-12000 ( 19th December 2014 )
Compressor drop-in coil
Wavemaker : Tunze 6105 x 1
Lights : Modular based DIY LED light x 4

Hi,

Anyone constructed the aluminium fish tank frame using the above shop contacts?

Appreciate if you can share the cost?

Plan to construct a 3 ft/ 4ft aluminium tank stand to support Display Tank and Sump Tank.

You need to calculate the weight of your tank so to choose the right profile else may cause disaster.

You also need to get the profile accessories.
