Haha thanks bro. Quite difficult as a student actually, alot of my part time pay all go to this hobby. Even my gf kp, we go out eat grass drink water. Heng she understanding.

Np bro. Most of the frags are from fellow reefers, some of them quite nice will offer student price. I try not to buy direct from the shops.

Hey bro, im using 40% white 60% blue with 2 t5s. My maxspect is 10k, so might not work out if you are using 16k.

Thanks guys for the kind comments. I will admit, keeping sps in a nano is a little tougher than i was expecting, largely because parameter swings keeps me worrying all day, all night, everyday, 24/7..... As some of you know, i had intentions to upgrade to a 4ft shallow. But that will have to wait for now.....my bike broke down yesterday, and that will probably take quite a bit of my savings. So I'm gonna hold off the new project for abit. Gonna let my current corals grow out more at the mean time, I'll update with pics from time to time on growth and colour. Cheers guys!

By the way, if anyone has like lobang of the century, not to missed... for a 4ft shallow, please keep me informed still! Much appreciated

Noob alert : Never thought 2 frags on the same plug would merge...when 2 become 1.....

Managed to capture some nice shots of my 2 favourite fishes

And FTS to end the month, did some spring cleaning on the tank itself and moved some frags around. Got a new yellow birdnest to fill the back of tank thanks to reefer Dan. Pay day coming soon!!! Huat ah!

Some pictures of my current Zoa collection. Been v particular about what Zoa I add. Now its just time to be patient and let it grow over the rocks. Already seen some spreading onto the rock itself.

Of cause, not everything in this hobby can be perfect. Heres a picture of my walt smith pocci that begin STN since feb. It recovered abit, but eventually continued stn. This was the only healthy frag i managed to save of the entire colony. Its colour has deepen by a fair bit, but still lost 90% of the coral. Hope this small frag can regrow to the beauty it once was.

1st of June! Sharing with everyone the progress so far.

Changing Colour again, plenty of new growth tips. Base turning pink, not sure if you can tell from photo

Red planet from fellow reefer. Was doing well, starting encrusting at base, one day, it just stop showing any pe. Still in tank, very little PE. Cant figure out what's wrong.

Frag from iwarna room, from day one no PE, thought i could revive it.

In conclusion, I feel my tank still not ready for the more advance sps, mainly milleporas. I just can't seem to get good PE from them. Sigh. Will stick to the easier sps for now like monti, digi, bn, pocci since these are all growing n showing good colouration.
