Hi guys,

Will be soon starting my new 2 ft cube tank with sump & skimmer

Dimension (24" X 20" X 20")

Will be keeping some soft corals, LPS like hammer & octopus etc.

My question is what kinda light can i get for budget of about $200.

Can i get LED lights?

I was looking at "AquaZonic Sirius Slim LED 60cm"

But its only 17.28W.. not really sure if that's sufficient.

Can any of you guys suggest any brands which can meet my requirement?

Thanks in advance :peace:

Yes it does, not forgetting solite fixture at least have a fan running to keep the bulbs cooled, for aquazonic, you are expecting a 6 month bulb change, any longer your spectrum its going to shift and you might experience coral color lost and algae problem. for solite fixture, you can probably go up to 9 months before requiring a bulb change. for ATI fixture probably a year or so.

as for individual reflector, i would say a 6 tube aquazonic = 4 tube solite, maybe an 8 tube aquazonic = 4 tube ATI (ati having better reflectors). that means you would need more tubes/fixture for aquazonic as compared to those having individual reflector to have the same PAR levels. calculating the electricity cost & bulb change cost, best to skip aquazonic.
