Besides the above points:-

* you can add a webcam to check on your tank via mobile phones.

* ask a buddy reefer to go over to your place if necessary.

Having a buddy will be the best possible solution else train your siblings or spouse on that will be best.

The most basic stuff i reckon have to be done is topping up of water and feeding the fishes if its not automated.

Where managing your parameter shouldn't be a issue if your tank is already stable.

Also need to prepare for contingency

e.g. what to do when chiller fail, return pump fail, wave maker fail.

as for feeding, few days no feeding should be okay. Otherwise use auto feeder but limit the amount to keep nutrient low.

what about frozen foods? any doser for frozen foods like mysis?

When no one staying at home, i will keep the home keys at my office, so in case if any problems are seen though my web cam or cant see the web cam (power trip).....

I will ask my friend to take the keys and ask them to visit to my house and access the situation...
