Hi,

There's this 3 legged thing that I've noticed in my own tank as well as on my bf's. We realized that one of this torch seems to have shrunk but we are not sure if this white thingy is the cause. I have it inside my live rocks too but since I'm still cycling my tank. I kinda just ignored it.

Description: sometimes come out as two tentacles. Sometimes 3. When u poke/brush against it it hides. Body is white with black/brown strips. Looks like the leg of a brittle star fish. But never seen its body( if there's one).

Sorry if pictures are bad. Not stable with my phone camera.

* u can see in photo on part that torch as moved away from the rock.

So it is a brittle star? I tot it was one too but wasn't too sure. :s I thought starfish moves around? These seem to just stay in those holes.
