Hi all,

I have reserved some fishes from a fellow reefer about 2month ago.

He called me and ask me to collect by this Sun but currently my tank is infested with parasite.

6 fishes had just passed away and today my YT also up the lorry.

All those fishes have been with me for at least 8mth.

All feeding well and this 2week I have been flooding my tank with Dr G food but still all died.

Now,I really hope to keep those fishes that I reserved, but I definitely can't put them to my DT now.

I am sure they will not survive.

I can't set up a QT also(space prob).

Anyone can suggest something for me?

Tot of housing the reserved in a container with air bubble and change water every 2-3days,is this possible?

Please advice,greatly appreciate any input.Thanks

Bro, you can use a tub from toyogo or ikea to temporary house the fish.

I have used this way for about 3 months before.

You just need a wavemaker; and if possible a chiller with the pump in the tub.

Change water about 10% weekly.

Cheers!

(-_-) Happy will do ... (o_o)

If u keep adding fish, your problem will never end. I cant see very clearly from your pic but i suspect is ich. Everytime u add in a new fish, the ich outbreak again n again. For a reef tank, u can try water change everyday till u see improvement. As for the fishes u reserved, I think its better to sell off to someone else. your tank issue will not be solved in 2 mths.

May be you want to consider keeping small fishes. My 6ft tank used to house some of the biggest giant tangs (I called them cow). Now I find a reef tank with many tiny fishes (like anthias) actually look more pleasant and best still they won't knock my coral down and kill them accidentally.
