healthy fish went missing!

suddenly couldn't find my yellow belly blue tang. it was super healthy and swimming around only just notice it went missing! is this possible? no bodies found!

Bro, live stock very hard to say one. Swimming ard dont mean it is fine. Sometimes my fish swimmimg ard in the morning only to find it dead at night. Even human can die in their sleep. Take it easy and u will find the hobby more enjoyable.

I have missing fishes too in my reefing days..fishes like 2" flame hawk, 4" algae Blenny, 2" maroon clown, etc..suspect eaten by pests in LR..happy reefing..

My Cory wrasse hides in the sand. Could never find out exactly where even when I sift through the sand. But I always see him after a while.

But then again I had a garden eel that disappeared a while back and I only just found his body.

Yeah It Happens..Some Times Blue Tangs Hide ..Alot..My Yellow Tang got Stunned by my dog and ramed into a rock ..now hes stuck..he went missing forund his skeleton exactly there still wedge Bro..Sometimes Blue Tangs Waste Away like that I never had luck with hippos Hope you find you hippo bro

Depend on ur tank size, big tank more water volume less water polluted..depend on ur return turnover too, the stronger the less water polluted too..small fish rip n left in tank its ok, big fish rip must remove asap..happy reefing

Bro suspect ur LR not cured..got pests like worm, crab, etc inside..

erm, how do i know if my rocks are pest-free? as such no worms or crabs etc. i suspect inside have creature catching my fishes

U can try hypo salinity (i think 1.030 n above..correct me if i m wrong..) ur LR..if got pests hiding inside, they will crawl out n eventually die..

Some ppl soak LR in fresh water but like that the BB will die oso..
