Accidentally hit the head of a hammer coral

When doing some rock arrangement as well as applying aquapharm rock binder to the rocks , i accidentally hit the head of a hammer coral branch and all the polyps immediately retracted . The other heads are doing just fine but the head that i accidentally hit over is going botak . All the green polyps litterally fell out from the branch , exposing the bony area . Will it grow back ? Will it affect the other branches ?

My water quality is just fine and my other LPS corals are doing great , just got a problem with that particular head of the hammer

Mine too recently. Just dont touch already till it heal back. Its should heal back in no time as mine did too Cheers
