i have a solution for your consideration...bergia nudibranch...

depending on how much aptasia you have on a single piece of liverock, you may wish to intro the nudibranches and the live rocks in a separate tank to cure it??

look http://www.reefsource.com/Species%20Databa...ERT/berghia.htm

...what are u missing from your life?... dun wait till your last breathe before telling them that you care

I highly recommend peppermint shrimps.

They wiped out every single aiptasia in my tank! Especially in those hard to reach corners.

After the aiptasia's gone, they are out scavenging the sandbed and they also spawn every fortnight, producing natural zooplankton for my corals/fish.

yea..i tried with peppermint shrimp and works for me too..

the shape of their body looks more like those of cleaner shrimp...dont have very pointy nose

tot the main thing is to see the hump.. got hump camel, no hump peppermint.

Why do we use "My 2 cents worth" when 1 cents are not legal tender in Singapore anymore? Shouldn't it be 5 cents worth?

What??? You probably have a camel shrimp and mistook it for a peppermint shrimp.

Camels are not reefsafe shrimps. (very distinct hump)

Peppermints are. (looks like a skunk shrimp except it has a light reddish translucent body with no hump)

Hmmm? I think copper band should be reef safe..

btw, any difference in prices between peppermint and camel shrimp?

depends on market isnt it?

its harder to find peppermint shrimp..so it could cost 3-4 times that of camel

Peppermint shrimp was solded at marine life.. and itis much more expensive than camel..

Copperband wont remove Aptasia totally.. Always leaving behind a small area of flesh... ( remove any tube worm before add a butterfish into you tank)
