Please share what do you feed your Tangs..

If you buy from supermarket, make sure to choose the ones that are most natural - unflavored, unsalted, etc...

Mysis,Nori Seaweed,Good Pellets Thera A,Ocean Nutrition,Dainchi etc..Even Lettuce is good..but Note that After Your Tangs Eat..remove Algae Wafers,Seaweed,Lettuce Etc..some may decay and cause Phosphates..

I feed mine with $5/per pack dried seaweed (from marine fish shop at Macpherson) and New Life Spectrum Pellets. They love it.

I feed them sea grapes from my refugium, tetra bits pellets and frozen mysis shrimp.

Ocean nutrition formula 1 and 2 , nori sheets from supermarket , fresh lettuce , frozen brine / mysis shrimps . Basically tangs are big time eaters .

Try hikari seaweed extreme pellet.

My tang doesn't like the dried seaweed. It does gobble up the Hikari seaweed extreme pellets.

if you tangs are having trouble eating, try to buy some live rocks with seaweed or algae to encourage them to graze.

at the same time hang green or red seaweed.

its only a matter of time they will help themselves to it. just be patient

i bought New Era Mini Marine Grazers for my livestocks. and my tangs love them! i bought mine from Henry.

Just place the food on the wall of a tank and they will start feeding on it. Throw away unfinished food!

I feed them market lettuce, my Emperor, Majestic Yellow and Purple Tang will graze them on it. But their shit is terrible. May have to try above options.
