Clam tankmates

Hi guys, currently have a footlong squamosa & small crocea clam in my tank, their only tank mates are currently camel shrimp, an emerald crab and a couple of red cardinals.

The shrimp seem to pick on the mantle of the large squamosa occasionally, causing it to retract, but leaves the crocea alone completely.

Is this something I should be worried about? Thinking of removing them if they will continue to stress the clam long term.

Camel shrimps are reported to prey on soft corals. Clam mantle could be fair game too. I'd take the shrimp out for the sake of the clam.

Thanks for the advice iskay, camels removed. Would other shrimp ( skunk,scarlet, banded) be ok with clams?

Shrimps of genus Lysmata ( skunk, blood, peppermint,etc...) generally will not bother corals. Genus Stenopus (Coral Banded Shrimp) does not bother corals but my own experience showed that it does bother feather duster worms.

i like clams so therefore i wont buy the shrimps posted above hehe
