Is orange sponge coral difficult to keep?

Not At All..They Are Quite Forgiving! and Easy under Proper conditions

Is that so? I have an orange fan sponge, not sure if its what you are referring to. Only eats phytoplankton 1-3um in length and cannot be out of water even for a second if not bubbles will form in it and kill it.

Had for slightly more than a month and its not doing well.

Not Doing Well? Why do you say that?..Params good? Lighting ? Pest?..

It's starting to get frayed and small holes are appearing on it. Nothing wrong with water params and lighting, furthermore all my other fish corals and even NPS are doing well.
