No leh.......I don't add chemical directly into the bank. I will normally pour it into the sump tank and let the pump suck it up into the main tank.

Orh! I don't see anything worng with the light, but current wise, it is place at a spot without much current. Hmmm....... could that be the cause? <_<

hi, can u explain how ur ms are melting? all i can see from the pic is they are a little shrivelled. my ms do tt in a while.

There will always be a little tear & starts to break

from that spot in a few days until the ms falls apart .

I have been adding seachem iodide solution twice every wk

but had not tested the concentration in my tank . Will try

& get a test kit 2molo . Any good brands to recommend?

Went to balestier this evening and I think Sam give me an answer to this. Look at the picture I post, the reason he give me was that leather and mushroom cannot be place to close together as the leather will stink the mushroom.

Sounds true, cos only the portion near to the leather dissolve away. Those further away is healthy.

Anyway, I brought an orange color sponge there. There was a young girl there who code me $8. I turn away and approach Ah Tan which offer me $6. So the moral of the story is - Ah Tan is still the correct person to approach

The chemicals in the leather's body might be strong enough to actaully sting the mushrooms but they are really very hardy. Have you checked the nitrates yet?
