hard coral and soft coral

i have read abt hard coral and soft coral from various book, however i stil don have a good idea abt their differences. i only knoe tat they are actually under a same group "cnidaria", and hard coral is more difficult to keep than soft coral, and thats all i know. i would like know more abt them before i start stocking. is buble coral a hard coral? soft coral can pack more closely to one another? is my 14000k mh light enough for both soft and hard coral? someone pls help me.thx

Hard coral have a skeleton and is divided into two groups... Large Polyps species (LPS) and Small Polyps Spcies(SPS)... SPS is more difficult to keep then LPS... Both LPS and Soft Coral will do well with your lighting... and Soft coral dun have any skeleton... Hope that this will help you... :lol:
