Hi, I have 5 feet tank that consist a chiller ?. My question is that can i switch off the chiller at night or must i switch it on 24 hours?. A nd also how long does the durations for the lighting that i must posses and which is the best timing for my fishes and my corals?. I need an advice. Thank you

Hi Faiz ..Its Better to keep you chiller running 24HRS A Day..a reef tank needs stable temp bro..,,,as for you lights..depends what are you keeping lps or sps..but I Think a 12Hours Day And 3 Hour Moonlight would be good....Try Getting LEDS They will help you..in the long run..due to less power consumption...Or T5 'S Also work as well..but more heat and more consumption..Hope This Helped..~~Happy reefing..New to reefing want any advise? That You Have To Test Bro If it goes down 2-3 degress its ok..if to much i advise on 24hrs bro....Haha..If its doing well with this shcedule then why not ..Haha Happy New Year To You Too!

Best to maintain consistent temperature for your tank throughout the day, too much fluctuation will stress the inhabitants in the tank.
