Mushroom coral ripping apart

Hey guys ,

This mushroom seems to be ripping itself apart oo

The tentacles are drifting along the current and the walls of the mushroom looks thin and fragile.

Should i remove or is it splitting?

Also my gsp has yet to open . I place it on the top of my rock structure so that i can receive the most light and water movements but it still isn't opening.

Your mushroom look like melting to me. IMHO, check your water parameter as the cause may due to your previous anemone dead that causes parameter haywire or polluted.

The other mushroom which is on the same rock looks fine ... How lol..

bro this happened to me before. first time i bought mushrooms then they melted like dat overnight. then checked my salinity its abit too high. lowered it to within range then try buying mushrooms again and no problem after that. i think of all corals mushroom and xenia easiest to care

You can't expose corals to extreme conditions (high light and high flow) so fast. Place in a quieter part of your tank. Acclimation is underrated. It can take up to a month for the GSP to open. Be patient.
