My close to 2 years blue tang recovering well..he is strong as he have many tank mates that come in after him but left b4 him..hope to give him a few new friends soon..

Your blue tang seems to recover well ... Next time add new fishes slowly and quarantine them if you can

1 question now your copper level at 0.3 ? For more than a week now ?

May be it is good time to plan what fishes to add and the sequence of introduction. This will prevent aggressive among fishes. Always add the most timid fish first and let it settles down before introduce the next fish.

Regardless which type of tangs you add, there is always fighting, so the size and the incumbent wins. So, it quite difficult to get large size AT and it is more expensive. while the bali tangs you can get different size easily. If the incumbent wins, your loss is very miminal. I encounter this and I have a AT, I have no ways to add it after i qt it. It keeps been attacked by other tangs. I keep puting it in and out of beta box for many times. It eventually died on the injury during the attack. Now I believe in adding the most timid and the most expensive first. So as to minimise loss.

So far my blue tang still the boss, being the most senior resident close to 2 years..but he's quite a tame boss..will go scare scare new comer awhile n swim his own way..the other more terror is my yellow tang but being smaller, so shd not pose any threat..my vlamingi tang is a hungry fish always, only interested in food..hope this sohal being just arrive to AC ytd nite will stay with me long..finger crossed

The sohal can hold himself I think no issue just make sure he feed well and should fine your tank don't have a lot of agressive fishes.

Maybe worry about new fishes in the future haha once sohal make his territory can be difficult to add others tang unless bigger or different species..

Is your tank still have copper? Better maintain the copper at 0.3 since you have never qt the fish.
