Hey bros.. jus bought the above di unit from iwarna today. Fixed the hose connector to my tap but water leaking from the connector.. am I missing out on something?

Also what do I do with the parts in the bag? Sorry for the noob questions.. this set should come w instructions!

Did u put the rubber or plastic o-ring inside the connector? This is to prevent water leaking out from faucet via connector.

Where you bought the hose connector from?

The leak is from the tap to the hose connector or from the yellow pipe? If connector than make sure there is rubber o ring in it.

Leak problem solved after I bought a metal connector from madpetz. The hose connector came w the di unit (bought at iwarna).

But now tds reading still about 50 despite adding a valve to slow down the water flow. :(

Anyone has similar issues?

Could be the resin problem.

I managed to achieve 0 TDS with this unit.

slow drip is the key,and also let the water run through the resin ~1/2hr before use.

Do you have a photo of the metal connector? Mine tends to leak in the form of small drips whenever I on the tap. Its leaking from the part connecting the hose to the plastic connector.

I think there's a thread somewhere regarding crystal pro resin some batches unable to achieve 0 TDS reading. Basically could be the new resin has "expired" even without it been used before. Try changing a new one to see if there's any improvement. I also facing the connector slight leaking problem thru the 3/4" yellow hose at the connector joint. Couldn't find the same garden hose connector that I bought last time. I only using crystal plus 1 stage. Might go to Madpetz to see if they hv. I think my tap faucet (screw in type) is 22mm in diameter.
