Front door opening hinges. Due to the weight of the door, I told the carpenter to use 5 stainless steel hinges together with the lifting level for greater support.

Front view with the door open. The front opening design really make the tank maintenance and stacking of the corals easier .

Due to the position of the equipment, i can't full ulitize the plug / function that the Apex neptune controller has to offer, but i am glad that the flexibility of the controller enable me to connect both power bar at both end of the tank with a extension USD cable.

Thus i installed another control board at the other end of the tank for this.

CR up and running with the C02 regulator which run for about 9 hour a day together with my frag tank lighting.

I dont run PH controller for my CR, since base on my past experience the above method work for me.

Wanna share this interesting pcs of equipment which i had been using for the past years. It has help notify me of numerous power failure or temperature getting too high or too low. Since it operate on SMS, i find it more reliable than the email notification that apex offer.

In the event of a power failure or temperature getting out of the setting, the battery will trigger the sms send to you .

Screen shoot of the notification sms.

Sharing a little tips which i learn from one of the master in this forum.

In order to cut down on the algae growth on the glass which hopefully also lead to lesser maintenance needed to clean the acrylic glass, the position of the lighting rail in the main tank is not "centered" but rather focus on the position of the lighting angle where most of the coral will be .

With lesser light shinning on the panel , it also mean lesser algae grow on the wall. Can really see the different between this and my frag tank where the glass is fill with some algae growth every week .
