The custom make acrylic made overflow comb. This would allow easy dismantle of the comb for cleaning and maintenance of the tank when required..

If possible, the valves can be electronically controlled. push of buttons to open and close the return and supply lines valves. punch in valve angle to control the ball valve angle. Auto water change.

Finally adding adding the water for salt mix after two week of cycling all the dry rock and foam back drop with freshwater. :yahoo:

However haven't got the time yet to really scape the rock , but it will be after when i change 50% of the water after the cycling process.

Good on you... In my next house I will definitely to the same ... For marine tanks, I also agree that there should be a lot of space for backend administration and support issues :P

This is the acrylic protection coating which i found off the shelf at home fix. It give a waxy coat on the surface after being applied which also helps to prevent finger print.

The Vortex battery back up for the MP60ES wavemaker . To protect it against moist and rust, i uses an air tight tapper wear plastic covering the battery.

UPS can only last for one to two hour only so it is not suitable , unless it is a customize one.

The "Cyptic zone " which is the first time i am trying out on my system. In order to maintain Total darkness, i had to covered up the whole tank with plastic board and maintain a very slow flow. Fopr those who is interested in knowing more about Cyptic zone, can read here ;
