I think those are the iron bars that they use for the structures of buildings. If those aren't strong enough, i dunno what will.

Haha bro..iron bars are strong but is our hdb wall n ceiling strong enough..I doubt that so i won't dare to do that at my hm..haha..I believe this is not in SG or it's landed property n the wall n ceiling r specially construct for this purpose..cheers
