Frustrated that my corals keep dropping. .

Im curious how do you place your corals that you just bought. .

eg zoas that's on a plug, gonio, sps on a plug etc. ..

Do you just place it on the LR, secure it some gaps.. or glue it straight to the LR?

Please advice. .

BSI gel is generally safe to be used in marine.i have been using it since day 1 till now.no adverse effect to corals as long as u don accidentally glue it to their flesh.

normally i just placed it on gaps at rocks ( low flow ) and wont drop .

sometimes mine keep dropping like 10 times when the flow is high. super frustrated !

the glue, just apply and place ( hold for 5 seconds or more let it harden awhile first else fly off )

the 2 have to mix 1 is call epoxy ! will make skimmer go crazy one. i prefer glue over epoxy. neater and less messy for me

That's epoxy putty Mix the resin with the hardener and then mash them up and wait for it to set. Apply some moisture to soften it to knead properly..and voila!

Most people sandwich the putty in between the plug and the superglue gel as it provides better grip. I like to do it as well but sometimes I'm just plain lazy so I use a little more gel and apply it directly onto the plug and hold it for about 10-20seconds on the desired location for it to set

Just plug it out. It's like breaking the wooden chopstick feeling. Very easy

Maybe I should start to glue small frag. One of my frag feel to the sand and became swollen and white.

I just glued at least 20 frag today. . Is actually pretty simple. You should try. .

The reef safe Epoxy is super duper smelly, and saying that is simply an understatement. I used some(or tried :S) and it took 20 minutes to set underwater. Best part is when I lifted up the rock to see powder flying everywhere and broken epoxy all over the rocks. Never again...

I am using BSI Gel. You just need to put a ball of glue below the frag plug, and quickly place it into the water and hold it there for 20-30 seconds. The glue will turn white once it touches water.

Tank: 3.5ft x 2ft x 1.5ft, 12mm

Sump: 3ft

Skimmer: Bubble Magus Curve 7

Lightings: Maxspect 15000k

Return Pump: Eheim 1252

Wavemaker: Jebao WP25, Jebao RW-8
