razor setting

Hi anyone know what how many percent should I start with and when sure I increase the percentage. My is a 160w 16k maxspect razor.

My current channel a is at 60% and b at 100%. Is it good to start with? And how should I know if I can bring up or down the percentage?

Mine is start at 30% and 60%. Think can slowly increase just to prevent bleaching

I set mine A:80% B:100% for 8 hours at this level. Hung 17" above water level over a 4x2x1.2ft tank sps dominated tank

The higher settings u set, the higher u should hang your lightset & observe the corals reaction. From there, slowly fine tune further to get the best result.

Depend how far your light is from the water surface and what lens you using.

if your light height is about 12 inch from the water surface

it is good to start around 40% for white and 50% for blue.

Then you observe for a week and adjust up slowly by 5 to 10% if no breeching.

Mine is very near to the water as using the stand. So far coral so good but I just dim down to white 50% blue 70%

Patience is one of the key to success here for lighting especially LED. Go very slow in ramping up your LED settings as corals need time to get used to the increase in intensity. Don't forget LED intensity is very strong. A few percent can be seem, not much to our eyes but do make a lot of differences to these corals. Sometimes bleaching will show up quite late, as long as a week to a month. Take note that some side effects are not immediate (unless very drastic changes are made). Weekly few percent increase will be ok for these little corals.

5% at a time should be ok & watch out for the reaction from the corals.

Mine is at 75:80 and i am monitoring my coral's reaction. The height is at 10 inch above water.
