SRC Member Marineman Posted February 16, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted February 16, 2004 thks .... pros & cons for either one.... now must get a honest & reliable tank maker .... any lobang.... For tanks the surface area is very important for oxygen optimisation, the surface area is width multiply length. Taking to the extreme, imgine a tank 24" high and 12" wide vs a 12" high and 24" wide, I am sure the fishes will be happier in the latter tank. Better not more than 2 ft height unless you have extremely long hands and more importantly if too deep lighting cannot reach the corals at the bottom efficiently. For Batman, your tank is a good size tank.
